Within the framework of the European Cultural Routes, the Network of Spanish Jewish Quarters proposes routes and tours to visit the Sephardic legacy in Spain in all its splendour. Museums, exhibitions, archaeological sites, historic synagogues, Mikveh or ritual bath, cemeteries, interpreting centres of the three cultures, and above all, the beautiful medieval Jewish quarters, perfectly preserved, are some of the proposals on offer for the traveller to discover and enjoy.

Sephardic gastronomy, artistic and historic heritage, archives, music, theatre and performances are the perfect accompaniment. The places where the medieval poets, philosophers, cabbalists and craftsmen once lived, have a great variety of subject-related themes available.
The RASGO project promoted by the Network of Spanish Jewish Quarters (an association formed by the towns of Segovia, Ávila, Barcelona, Besalú, Cáceres, Calahorra, Córdoba, Estella-Lizarra, Girona, Hervás, Jaén, León, Monforte de Lemos, Oviedo, Palma de Mallorca, Plasencia, Rivadavia, Tarazona, Toledo, Tortosa and Tudela), aims at creating a distinguishing offer at the cities of the Network.
RASGO is a common guide of how to manage and to develop the tourist activities in each Jewish quarter of all the cities of the Network. The acronym RASGO stands for the following elements:
- Restaurants offering Sephardic style food.
- AAccommodation with charm in the Jewish quarters.
- Signposting of the Jewish quarters with common elements.
- Guides with special training with regards to Jewish culture.
- Offer of cultural activities related to Jewish culture.
RASGO makes it possible to create a specific route, which encompasses all cities of the Network, in order to integrate them into the European Route of Jewish Heritage, recognized as European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe.
