Event's Description
The Department of Tourism of the Town Hall works with the Spanish Association of Hebrew and Jewish Studies in the organization of the VIII Symposium in which experts from different parts of the Spanish geography will talk during two days about several aspects of Hebrew and Jewish culture.
At the Academy of History and Art San Quirce, on June 10th and 11th 2010 will talk about teaching and learning of the Hebrew language, the Spanish press and the Sephardim, the speaking strategies in the Book of Revelation or Abraham Seneor, the last Jewish magnate medieval Spain, among other topics.
Furthermore, on Friday at 12:00 pm will be held within the VIII Symposium, the General Assembly of the Spanish Association of Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
Amparo Alba Cecilia from Segovia, teacher in the department of Hebrew and Aramaic at the University Complutense of Madrid, is the coordinator of this Symposium that will be open to the general public.
