Tortosa. Rambla Felip Pedrell, 3
The Museum of Tortosa explains the history of the city and its
territory, from prehistory to the 20th century, with the help of a
selection of the most representative pieces of the municipal
collection. The section dedicated to the Middle Ages contains a
reflection of the co-existence of the different cultures within the
city, illustrated by fragments of a Hanukkiyah, and a letter by
Ferdinand the Catholic, dated Granada March 31st 1492, to the
placeholders of Tortosa, in which the king notifies the edict of
expulsion of the Jews.
