A modest music band of Egyptian police appears in a small and isolated town of Israel after getting lost on his way to a protocol concert . Next are welcomed by friendly locals who open their hearts despite cultural differences. With them spend more than a day full of passion, comic situations and misunderstandings.

The Ajami neighborhood in Jaffa, Israel, is an amalgam of cultures and views among Jews, Muslims and Christians. The fragility of human existence is revealed in the gated community of Ajami, where even defending different positions, people must live together as neighbors. No place better expresses the contrast between different worlds. Back and forth in time, and through the eyes of various characters, we witness how difficult this situation.

In 1970, the concerns of Mauro (Michel Joelsas), a boy of 12 years, they have nothing to do with the military regime that controls Brazil. His biggest dream is to see the football team win its third World Cup. In repende, Mauro is separated from his parents and taken to live in the community of Bom Retiro, a district in São Paulo where they reside, above all, Jews and Italians.
